I was sitted in the living room watching the news of Covid-19 in January shortly after the new year celebration, when the broadcaster read that “a novel virus is on the loose and very little is known about it.”

It started off as a joke and then more news came pouring in: “More deaths have been reported in China and Europe, businesses shutting down and movements restricted…”

All these call for genuine concerns. I noticed I started feeling anxious, sad and worried at what will happen next? Boom! We recorded the first case in Lagos, Nigeria, in March, and the journey to uncertainties begun.

It is often said that, “the only constant thing in life is change” but how many people are truly ready for the change?

To be continued next Wednesday.
